This year marks our 22nd year in business. What a time it has been! We opened in November of 2000 at our first location in the shopping center with Barnes & Nobel Books as a franchise store, Wild Bird Center. In 2005 we heard that the Flying Star was planning a shopping center here on Corrales Rd. and immediately meet with Mark Bernstein and signed on. 
We moved into the new center over a 3 day period and opened the day after Memorial day in 2005 while the rest of the shopping center was still under construction. In fact, I remember customers ducking under the welders who were finishing up the awning out front! It was a fantastic effort by a hand full of close friends and customers who showed up and moved the entire store less than 8 blocks away. 
In 2009 we separated from the franchise and continued in business as Wags & Whiskers speciality dog and cat food products and added Grooming to the shop in 2007. After a period of time we were able to include bird products back into our store and begin to re-grow our bird store as The Wild Bird Feeder, it has been a slow and sometimes painful return to the business we know best and love most. Over time the dog and cat product line fell short of expectations and we decided to discontinue that part of our business. 
In 2015 we made the decision to close our doors as a brick and mortar store and move to an ONLINE STORE. We appreciate all of you who moved along with us! 
Our new online store has been up and running for you to try out since that time.  Our 'GoDaddy Web' service online store format offers a safe and secure payment platform for your use you can simply go online, order and purchase your seed, suet, and bird blocks. We make every effort to deliver within 24 hours, but usually can get your order to you same-day delivery!
We are also offering a selection of our top selling products in bird-feeders and accessories. If you have a special request for an item you do not see on the web site, drop us a note and we will most likely be able to special order it for you.
